I can’t say enough good things about Revive and my Dietitian. Whether it’s private nutrition counselling sessions or group cooking classes, my experiences with Revive have always been stellar.My Dietitian is amazing. She provides me with sound nutritional advice and suggestions for staying on track in a positive non-judgmental way. She understands that as human beings we all have unique challenges and she is always able to come up with creative suggestions to help deal with roadblocks in my path to a healthier life. I know she will always be supportive of me and I take great comfort in having her expertise and encouragement as an integral part of my healthcare team.
When I started the Revive your Life program with [my Dietitian] I had no idea what I was going to learn. My husband joined with me and complained until he started to lose weight. The year has been incredible. We have learned how to manage our diets without going hungry and we have learned what it means to manage our heart risk.Although I lost 18 pounds and my husband 15, this year was so much more than a weight loss journey – it has quite literally changed our lives and there is no going back. With the skills [my Deititian] has given us, we continue to maintain our healthy life style and healthy weight – cruises and all!
I first started working towards my health & wellness goals with [my Dietitian] in April 2009. I have struggled for 10 + years to get my weight under control and after trying various diet plans, I realized that I needed a coach that would help me specifically with my lifestyle, incorporating my career and my health issues rather than following a generic diet plan.I think we all expect to have “aha” moments when we are paying for trainers, weight loss programs or Dietitians and then everything will be cured, however what I realized working with [my Dietitian] is that my “aha” moments are only stepping stones to changing my lifelong journey of good health. It has been a journey working through unhealthy food choices, lack of motivation and emotional triggers that keep me from being successful, but working with [my Dietitian] has allowed me to now walk the talk of eating to stay live, rather than living to eat!
Relatively new to running, I reached for the stars and registered for the Canadian Death Race (125km over 3 mountains in 24hrs). After 10 weeks of hard training with multiple two a day workouts each week, I was feeling gassed and enlisted the help of Revive Wellness Inc. to make day-to-day nutritional plans that fit my specific workout schedule. Almost, immediately I saw the results in my training.I later worked with Revive to manage my pre-race meal and my nutrition intake during the race. I learned so much, and I can proudly say that I finished the death race! I can say without a doubt that nutrition is a very important piece of the puzzle to achieving your race day goals.”
