By day, Janis is the marketing coordinator for the Art Gallery of Alberta. By night, she is one of Edmonton (and Canada’s) top fashion bloggers. Not only does she post her own lovely outfits, her blog Dress Me Dearly often highlights the local (Edmonton) fashion scene. I popped into the AGA at lunch, to see how she fuels her busy lifestyle.
Brown bag or out: 50/50. I’d prefer to brown bag it, but with my schedule I end up eating out quite a bit.
Spot to lunch: Out of the office! If I’ve packed a lunch, I eat it on the 3rd floor of the AGA (there’s so much sunlight here) If I’m eating out, I like Chopped Leaf and Vicki’s dowtown.
Favored lunch vegetable: Carrots because they’re easy!
Way to stay hydrated: water, water, water…My desk is steps away from the water cooler!
My lunch always… is a surprise! haha. I might have my stuff together the night before, I might not.
Today’s lunch is:
Make your own salad from Sunterra market (greens, tomatoes, almonds, chickpeas- as a vegetarian I include beans in my meals often), and my daily apple.
