Raina’s Chai Spice Smoothie

Makes 1 smoothie

Ingredients

  • ½ banana, peeled, chopped and frozen
  • 1 cup of milk (can substitute unsweetened almond milk)*
  • ½ scoop vanilla protein powder (Vega Sport/ Biosteel Whey/ Vegan Biosteel)
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp chai spice mix (cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg)
  • 1 Tbsp ground flax seed
  • Optional: splash of Chai Tea Latte Concentrate

Preparation

  1. Prepare fresh fruit a day before and freeze overnight.
  2. Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender.
  3. Add water (if necessary) to create desired consistency.
  4. Enjoy!

*If using almond milk, add an extra 1/3 scoop protein powder or 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt, as almond milk contains little protein.
