Veggie Tots

Try this great kid friendly recipe!


Makes 20 tots

  • 1 ½ cup cauliflower, chopped
  • 1 ½ cup broccoli chopped
  • ½ cup carrot, peeled and grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 °
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once the water in boiling, add the broccoli and cauliflower and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. Put broccoli and cauliflower into a food processor and pulse until broken down to small pieces, but not a paste.
  4. Combine the rest of the ingredients except the canola oil and mix well.
  5. Form the mixed ingredients into a ball and then flatten the top and bottom to create a “tot” shape.
  6. Drizzle the canola oil onto a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Roll each tot into the oil and line them up in rows on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 7 minutes, then flip and bake for another 7 minutes.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
