laura’s Story

My interest in digestive health is both professional and personal. My experiences with persistent digestive symptoms and PMOS, formerly known as PCOS, have shown me how quickly searching for answers can lead to conflicting advice, repeated food restriction, and uncertainty about what to eat.

That perspective shapes how I practice. I help clients identify which nutrition strategies are genuinely useful without automatically defaulting to another elimination diet. We consider symptoms, nutritional needs, quality of life and your relationship with food.

I work with adults of all genders, with a particular interest in supporting women whose digestive symptoms overlap with hormonal health, chronic pain, food restriction or distress around eating.

My continuing education includes IBS Management: The Low FODMAP Diet through the GI Institute and Identification and Management of Disordered Eating in Gastrointestinal Disorders through Monash University FODMAP.

You may be a good fit for my approach if digestive symptoms are shaping what you eat, your food variety is becoming more limited or you feel overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice.

I am passionate about:

IBS and persistent digestive symptoms

Make sense of bloating, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea and unpredictable digestion.

Protecting your relationship with food

Address symptoms without repeated elimination diets, rigid rules or anxiety around eating taking over.

Digestive symptoms with chronic pain

Adapt nutrition strategies when pain, fatigue or other chronic symptoms make eating more difficult.

Cutting through nutrition misinformation

Understand what the evidence supports, what has been exaggerated and what may not be worth your time or money.
